Service Description

Due to demand we are bringing you another weekend version of this special retreat! Our wish is to create a safe, supportive and welcoming space for contemplation and exploration, where you are equally welcome to share and contribute or simply step back and immerse your senses. We are always evolving so some choose to repeat and come along for more ... Saturday 14 Sep @ 11 - 2pm with Gillian Ward, Meditation Coach and AcuEnergetics® Practitioner from Mindful Medicine Ellen Clinch, Yoga Therapist from Yoga Den This very special small group retreat will include three hours immersed in complete rest and relaxation to help support and optimise health and wellbeing through Menopause and beyond. Gentle, therapeutic Yoga, deeply restorative Meditation, helpful nutritional guidance and light refreshments and snacks will be tailored to your needs and designed specifically to ease symptoms and lead you positively through Perimenopause, Menopause and through the Post-Menopausal years. Join us on this special day to experience the nurturing benefits of restorative yoga and meditation, favoured by many cultures for thousands of years; and find out why the Menopause is known as the Second Spring in Traditional Chinese Medicine! We will begin with an informal discussion of some of the 40 symptoms of Menopause, and conclude by welcoming an informal round table to try and answer your questions. At the same time, light refreshments and delicious snacks will be provided by Nourishingly Noshed. A gift bag will be handed out at the end, packed full of samples, recipes, and take home tips and techniques to support you long after the retreat. Please submit any questions regarding symptoms, or nutrition by email so we can ensure your questions are answered, where possible, during the retreat. Please come dressed in layers to be as warm and as comfortable as possible while lying down. Don't forget to bring YOGA MAT, BLANKET, SOCKS and optionally cushions, pillows, eye masks to be comfortable. Comfortable chairs can be provided for anyone preferring to sit rather than lie down (please request in advance). *** ONLY 12 PLACES AVAILABLE *** Free parking on site. All new students to Mindful Medicine must complete a New Student Registration form and have read the Privacy Policy prior to attending the retreat

For class/workshop cancellations, please contact us within 72 hours of the session. Refunds are not always possible, but will be considered on a case by case basis. For 1-1 AcuEnergetics® and 1-1 Mindfulness Meditation coaching, please contact us within 48 hours of the session to avoid being charged.
